"Dreaming of 0017"
Painted using acrylics on the Breyer Rhenish Draft mold. (Completed in 2022)
I was struggling really badly with the custom I was working on and it was putting me in a really bad mental space. So I knew I needed to switch gears, do something not-so-serious and just for me to sort of feel better and get back on track. I took two days, not worrying about prepping or realism or any ‘perfection’ and painted this chonky hunk! I present to you “Dreaming of 0017”!
This is my interpretation of Breyer’s 2021 Live auction model. I conga this Rhenish Draft mold and will never be able to afford the live auction models so I hand painted my own for my shelf lineup.
DISCLAIMER: Breyer owns the copyright to this design pattern. This piece is strictly fan art inspired by their model for my own collection. Never to be sold or live/photo shown and has been documented in my records as such. Signed and dated on the underside and fully painted so it does NOT mimic original finish at all. My interpretation also has differences in color and shading so it is never to be confused with the original factory version or an original finish in general.
